I have been a practicing bodyworker since 2004. I received my initial training at Oregon School of Massage in Portland with a focus on Shiatsu and Eastern Medicine and then continued intensive training in Thai Massage and Chi Nei Tsang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have been hugely influenced by ancient asian healing and spiritual traditions like Taoism and Soto Zen, as well as more contemporary movement arts practices such as Contact Improvisation, Body-Mind Centering, and Feldenkris. In 2012 I completed a 750 hour holistic health coaching program at Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In 2018-2020 I completed a two year residency at Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, NM, living in community, running a vegetarian temple style kitchen, studying and practicing Zen Buddhism. I am currently training with The Milne Institute in Visionary Craniosacral Work, and Nonviolent Communication facilitation and mediation. I offer ongoing classes in movement and meditation arts such as Qigong, and Contact Improvisation as well as bodywork trainings such as Abdominal Massage and Thai Massage for both professionals (Continuing Education Credits), as well as for lay people, for personal enrichment. My intention in all I do is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with one’s own deep inner rhythms, knowing, and natural vitality. I live in Ashland, Oregon.
